Time for some reflection on this past monthWow, so a lot has happened this month, and a lot of it is gonna greatly affect what happens in the near future. I won't go into any of it right now, and may never, but yeah, lots and lots of stuff.
Anyways, it looks like there's some sort of crazy overhaul in the Digipen BFA program, and it just got about 10 times harder...YAY! I guess "they" are trying to flush out students who aren't good enough to have their work published in ImagineFX. Total BS if you ask me, after all, we aren't even half way through the program yet. I think the better strategy would be some sort of positive reinforcement rather than, "You suck and you'll never get any better, so I'm just gonna fail you out of the program now. Have fun at McDonalds." I'm not in any danger as of right now, but this new policy sure has added a whole new level of stress. Ugh.
In other news, I LOVE PAINTING TEXTURES! The crate assignment was a blast, and I'll probably upload one of my renders in a little while. I thought I was gonna enjoy modeling far more than texturing; turns out I was dead wrong.
Well, I should probably go now (I'm supposed to finish texturing, lighting, and composing a 3D model of an ambulance). I'll try to upload more stuff soon.
